Shoreham-By-Sea is a pretty seaside town with a harbour and commercial port bordering Southwick to the east and Lancing to the west. The town also benefits from having the beautiful South Downs to the north and to the south the tidal river Adur and the very desirable Shoreham Beach area. With architecture that reflects its fishing history, there are old cottages, houses and beautiful churches, but also some stunning new developments along the riverside and the harbour front that take into account the wonderful views the area offers. There are a variety of shops, cafes pubs and restaurants, along with a small high street museum that catalogues the wealth of fishing history of the town.
