Ashurst is a small rural West Sussex village that is situated between Steyning and Partridge Green. It has an excellent pub called ‘The Fountain’ and a village hall which was originally set up to give the local working farmers a place to socialise other than the pub! It has been a lively and popular hall ever since and the old hall was recently replaced with a brand new one which runs film nights, theatre productions and can also be booked for local events.
